Laundry symbols, also called care symbols, are pictograms displaying instructions on how to care for a particular piece of laundry. This care includes washing, bleaching, tumble drying, ironing, and professional textile care or dry-cleaning. Not knowing at least those common symbols can result in ruining a perfectly wonderful piece of clothing.
